FYI other one exercising at Best rd Res🚨COVID-19 UPDATE🚨

Council advises residents, that on the advice of NSW Police, we are closing our children’s playgrounds, play equipment and outdoor gym equipment in our parks and reserves.

Police say these areas are being used for ‘recreation’ which is not permitted under the current Health Orders and this poses a risk of people ‘gathering’ and spreading the COVID-19 virus. Council staff will be cordoning off the playgrounds and erecting signs advising of the changes.

Please note that this doesn’t stop our kids exercising in our parks under the supervision of parents or carers under strict guidelines➡ https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules/affected-area

In other developments, after the arrival of 1 million Pfizer doses from Poland, Health NSW advises there are 49,000 vaccination bookings available this week at Qudos Bank Arena, Olympic Park, for ‘authorised’ workers from Western Sydney aged between 16-to-39. Bookings can be made on the NSW Health COVID-19 websiteâž¡ https://nsw.gov.au/covid-19/health-and-wellbeing/…

And a reminder, if you need to self-isolate and can’t work while waiting for your COVID-19 test result, you may be eligible for the Test and Isolate support payment➡ https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-test-and-isolate-support-payment

Please stay safe and get vaccinated.

Many thanks Lourdes committee we look forward to a better 2022 seasonII BDSFA BOARD STATEMENT - 2021 WINTER SEASON II

The BDSFA Board met on Monday night to discuss the options available to play out the 2021 Winter Season.

In summary the Board decided the following:

* Based on the probable Return to Play date, the options considered were determined not to be in the best interest of our Clubs, Volunteers, the Players and Referees and a decision has been made to abandon the 2021 Winter Season.

* As there were only a maximum of 10 to 12 rounds conducted across all Competitions, there will be no winners of any competition declared.

* With respect to Competitions (U12 and above), the table as at the last matches played in those Competitions will be a reflection of the 2021 Winter Season.

The full statement can be read at the link below:
